Together with three other ‘sister’ projects, E2DRIVER will jointly organise and participate at a workshop, titled “Energy Efficiency Solutions for SMEs”, at Sustainable Places 2020, held from October 27 to October 30. The projects involved are
SPEEDIER, SMEmPOWER, and innoveas, which will participate as an attendee.

The workshop will present the four projects and their different approaches to energy efficiency capacity building programmes for SME staff members and managers. These programmes aim to help SME employees gain new skills and knowledge on energy audits as well as to develop changes in behaviour and enhance company culture with regards to energy efficiency.
After the presentations, the workshop will explain the different needs required to develop appropriate training programmes and what background discoveries to date can be used to help improve such programmes. Based on this background knowledge, the workshop will showcase the training proposals by the different projects, whereafter the presentation on different policies will shed light on the possibilities to improve energy efficiency training programmes for SMEs.
